Square Biz: Mike Vick was finally sentenced today in his dogfighting case. For his role in the situation he got 23 months in jail. Because of federal guidelines, he will do at least 20 months and be eligible for good behavior release at that time.

Mack Move: First of all, I want ya’ll to click on that source link above this sentence. Take a long read and digest it because I’m about to flush that bullshit.

This Michael Ventre muhfucca obviously has a problem with Mike Vick. His problem, like many of those coming down on Vick, is about more than just dogfighting. It’s about society’s fear of the black man’s dick.

For those with an ignorant misunderstanding of that last statement, allow me to break it down for ya’ll.  Going back to slavery times, the typical white male’s belief is that every black man has a humongous penis. This signifies a threat to them. This belief is that the black man is more sexually potent than his white counterparts. The fear is that this is a threat to civilization as they know it, or would like to have it, with the white man in power and outnumbering the black man. After all, every woman wants ‘the big dick’ right? It’s enough that the black man’s dick is so overpowering, but to throw money in the equation guarantee’s he will be a target. Something has to be done to make up for the O.J. case right?

First of all, 23 months is some bullshit any way ya wanna look at it! That absurd amount of time basically ensures that his NFL career is a wrap. In no way do I believe the time fits the crime either. At the end of the day, he fucked up. He knows this. But what exactly did he do? Nothing that isn’t done everyday. I have had dogs my entire life but do I think dogfighting should lead to 23 months in prison? Fuck no! This ain’t just some pro-black voice talking…the shit simply is stupid. I’d feel the same way if you told me Tom Brady was in the same shit. Well, he probably kills deer and fights chickens and shit though. Oh yeah…that ain’t a problem huh?

Square Biz: ESPN reports that Michael Vick has turned himself in early in anticipation for a prison stretch once he is sentenced December 10^th. Vicks attorney Billy Martin released the following statement: “From the beginning, Mr. Vick has accepted responsibility for his actions, and his self-surrender further demonstrates that acceptance. Michael wants to again apologize to everyone who has been hurt in this matter, and he thanks all of the people who have offered him and his family prayers and support during this time.”

Mack Move: Now before I get started about how fucked up the whole situation is, let’s analyze this move by #7. Now I know most brothas would be tryin to avoid jail till the very last second…my black ass included! Hell, they’d probably have to come track my ass down! But lets not forget, Mike Vick ain’t just a regular n*gga. He has to worry about his image because it affects his career, which affects his endorsements, which affects his money. Now ya’ll know, the money is the boss. I think it was a good move for him. The media and 98% of all white society has basically made him the Godfather of dogfighting so anything he can do to show that he is accepting and understanding of ‘what he has done’ is a good play. In addition to that, it takes a few weeks off his jail time which could be anywhere from 1 – 5 years. IMO, he shouldn’t have to do a damn minute in the pin. 1^st of all, I’m from the south. Dogfighting ain’t brand new and it damn sure ain’t start with Michael Vick and it won’t end with him either. Does it lead to some fucked up dogs…yeah. But that shit is a part of how we came up as much as it is for BillyBob to be raised to hunt and kill them damn dear with his Pops from 100 yrds out with a rifle. They don’t eat them deer so what’s the damn difference? Nothing. I bet if it came down to Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, we wouldn’t have heard a peep about the shit.
