Square Biz: Indiana Pacers guard Jamal Tinsley and several of his comrades barely escaped an apparent hit or robbery attempt early Sunday. Tinsley and his people were at the Cloud 9 club in 3 cars that he owns, including a Rolls Royce. After leaving the club, Tinsley’s group pulled into the Conrad Hotel when 2 cars that were following them opened fire with a .223 assault rifle. The only injured person was the team’s equipment manager.

Mack Move: The missing part of this story is whether or not it was provoked. Meaning, did ole boy cause the problems he had? Was he running around flashing dollars in broke folk face trying to make it rain? That’s like waiving steaks in front of a pack of wolves. Jamal Tinsley is from the streets so he should know better if that was the case. If not, then he was just a victim of circumstance. A rich cat that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dig this…the Pacers were actually thinking about punishing him! WTF for? Is getting shot the hell up against league rules now?
