Square Biz: Ya’ll probably heard by now that Mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick got himself caught up in a lil scandal recently with some text messages that proved he has been having an affair with his Chief of Staff Christine Beatty. Beatty has now resigned from her position stating that she “can no longer effectively carry out” her duties. The two used city issued pagers to exchange the messages below:
“I’m madly in love with you,” Kilpatrick wrote on Oct. 3, 2002.
“I hope you feel that way for a long time,” Beatty answered. “In case you haven’t noticed, I am madly in love with you, too!”
Beatty: “And, did you miss me, sexually?”
Kilpatrick: “Hell yeah! You couldn’t tell. I want some more. “

Lol…homeboy might not be too smart though to be a mayor. How the f*ck you gonna lie about creepin with ole girl (in court) and NOT expect them to look for evidence? You knew damn well you had been communicating with ole girl on them city-issued pagers and sh*t! You might as well had just manned up at that point like “f*ck it, ya’ll got me.” Now ya dumb ass gonna catch a perjury case.

Of course he caught doing something illegal, he’s not exactly a spitting image of our forefathers, if you know what I mean. Spent too much money on the city’s credit card, bought a brand new SUV for his wife with city money, threw a stripper party in the Mayor’s Mansion(if there is such thing as a mansion in Detroit), sounds like the “enlightened” masses of Detroit elected their mirror image to act as mayor……And he’s doing an awful job and is caught up in endless scandals. No one should be surprised, he’s just following his animal instincts.
