Square Biz: Ya’ll probably heard by now that Mayor of Detroit Kwame Kilpatrick got himself caught up in a lil scandal recently with some text messages that proved he has been having an affair with his Chief of Staff Christine Beatty. Beatty has now resigned from her position stating that she “can no longer effectively carry out” her duties. The two used city issued pagers to exchange the messages below:

“I’m madly in love with you,” Kilpatrick wrote on Oct. 3, 2002.
“I hope you feel that way for a long time,” Beatty answered. “In case you haven’t noticed, I am madly in love with you, too!”
Beatty: “And, did you miss me, sexually?”
Kilpatrick: “Hell yeah! You couldn’t tell. I want some more. “

Square Biz: Former Miami Heat 3-point marksman Glen Rice was arrested Friday morning and charged with felony battery after an altercation with his wife and her lover on the side.
